I was fresh off the newsroom of France's largest regional newspaper when a windsurf magazine reached out to write most of their "Special Skate" issue. From there, the phone kept on ringing.

I moved from daily journalism to magazines on the strength of reported features — profiles, interviews, and long-form stories on the people shaping board-sports culture.

My fondest anecdotes include being asked by the late Richard Buckley to write two pieces for Vogue Magazine. Of course, I happily produced them. (Even though the pieces ended up on the back burner).
